East Sussex Lap / West Sussex Lap Route

An optional detour worth mentioning is the Sussex Border Path North to South spur between East Grinstead to Fishersgate (also known as the Mid Sussex Link).

This follows the East/West Sussex border to the coast, and so provides the possibility of creating your own shorter routes for both an East Sussex Lap or a West Sussex Lap - simply combine this path with the desired coast and border path sections from the Sussex Lap route above.

The Sussex Border Path North to South spur is documented with maps on the Sussex Border Path website.
